The Smart Seminar

Last Friday up to Sunday(Nov 7-8), I had the opportunity to attend the SMART Seminar being held here in Midvalley at The Boulevard Hotel. SMART is an acronym they used for Systems, Marketing, Alliances, Revenue and Traffic. The very essence of Internet Marketing. The SMART Seminar was organized by Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group, Internet Marketing Academy and BuzzMeIn, LLC. It was hosted by the two top names in the Internet Marketing world, Stuart Tan and Simon Leung.

The SMART Seminar is uniquely presented to weed away the problems of traditional seminars that are too huge and too confusing for those who are new online. Instead, it is structured in the form of a conference where individuals will have an opportunity to interact on a regular basis with the speakers there, and also include a newbie's booth where you can gather and learn some basic elements of online marketing and find out how money is actually made online.

The SMART Seminar is also the choice for experienced individuals to be at so that they can continue to enhance their professional network of internet marketers and seek out joint venture partnerships.

At the end of the seminar, at a larger picture, we have learned
- how to bulid a solid brand and online reputations
- the systems to turn leads into buyers
- how to utilize information product marketing to rake in riches
- how to promote to women and why it is the largest online market today
- the traffic strategies that strike gold
- the hottest trends that are picking up that will leverage our time and effort
- real ways to make real cash on the internet even if we are holding a day job
- to get satisfaction from earning our first dollar online
- how to passively earn from the internet while you are doing other things

The guest speakers who have unselfishly shared their knowledge and experience are
Anik Singal, Donna Fox, Mark Widawer, Lee and Robin Collins, Mike Morgan, Ewen Chia, Robert (I forgot his surname), Stuart Tan, Simon Leung and Andy (I forgot his surname). I was also able to meet the famous internet marketer here in Malaysia, Gopalakrishnan. I will create a separate post to document the things that I have learned from each speakers.

The interaction during break out sessions are the best! This is where Stuart asked each and everyone to form a group in circles and each speaker sits with each group for an hour. We were able to ask them some basic tips and insights. The speakers also shared how they started in their internet marketing endeavor.

Till the next blog.
